all and will post messages we feel are appropriate. "Repukes" the party of NO... a shrinking party destined for
extinction!
Even
after getting caught with their grimy, filthy hands
inside the cookie jar, Faux News denies... and denies.
In fact, their pompous ratings leader even had the nerve
to attack Rachael. Of course the better informed Maddow was polite, classy and direct with her response
to the bully on the block Bill O'Reilly. I love it when
she smiles ever so sweetly while destroying the likes of
"Bill-O"... don't you?
Surprise, SURPRISE -
the Right leaning Supreme Court once again as always sides
with Big Business over the average American citizen.
The Supremes led by Roberts and Scalia prove once and for
always they don't give a damn about justice, or the little
people... its the American Corporations where they get their
money and support that are their concern. So be gone little people.
These wackjobs just keep tilting things in favor of
America's Corporations... first they give the Corporations
the ability to buy candidates and now this...? The
middle and lower class have no future if this crap keeps up.
The Republithugs are going to own us all if we don't wake up
America! Just look at the distribution of wealth:
Siding With Skilling,
Justices Limit Law on 'Honest Services', or how the
bias of this Supreme Court is really showing!
The Supreme Court has sided with Jeffrey Skilling, the
former Enron chief executive, in limiting the use of a
federal fraud law that has been a favorite of white-collar
crime prosecutors.
The court said Thursday that the "honest services" law could
not be used in convicting Mr. Skilling for his role in the
collapse of Enron. But Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg said in
her majority opinion that the ruling does not necessarily
require Mr. Skilling's conviction to be overturned.
The court in this ruling also sided with the former
newspaper magnate Conrad Black, setting aside a federal
appeals court decision that had upheld Mr. Black's honest
services fraud conviction. But as in Mr. Skilling's case,
the justices left the ultimate resolution of the case to the
appeals court.
Oh wow, so who knew? Apparently Obama
really does have a pair. Of course they aren't as big as Hillary's, but
allowing General Stanley McChrystal-Meth to resign proves Obama actually has
balls. Congrats Mr. President. Good riddance General! Your
sorry ass should have been gone after the Pat Tillman cover up and subsequent
scandal was proven to be placed squarely on your lying shoulders, or maybe with
the detainee scandal you participated in. Hell, either one should have
brought you down. You are a disgrace in oh so many ways.
After all the blowback,
the "15 watt mentality of " Rep. Joe Barton (R-Tex) does it again...
he actually put a piece on his web site titled, "Joe Barton was
right." Naturally writtten by some Rightwing Hack from the
American Spectator, or some such rag.
Of course the
chickenshit took it down after about 5 minutes... but stll... what
was this imbecile thinking?
Who is on your side Gulf Coast of America?
This week Republithug extraordinaire, "Jerkin" Joe Barton inadvertently told the
truth. No of course he didn't mean to... but he's oil through and through,
so how could he hide his feelings? The redneck Congressman is a former oil
executive, and oh yeah, guess what? His oil company was purchased by BP.
Oh no, no conflict of interest here... nothing to see... keep moving. When this
all hat no rodeo cowboy made his Gulf Oil spill remarks he must have thought
that he was merely following Republican Party protocol. Yet once the apology
stumbled out of his mouth there was an immediate reaction of outrage and anger.
So naturally, Republithugs had to go into public relations damage control, or
crisis management. Barton blew it. The dimwitted Texan had overloaded his mouth
and committed a Republithug cardinal sin -- the energy chairman exposed, for any
all to see, the "DNA" of the Republican Party -- NO, not ONLY the cozy
relationship with big oil, but also that BIG OIL and REPUBLICAN are synonymous.
They are the same reckless, selfish, inept yet still environmentally disastrous
to our nation! Yes indeed, they are exactly the same. Many are still
making the rounds trying to spin what was said. John Fund the Wall Street
Journal Neanderthal went as far to say, "that BP being prodded by the Obama
administration to put up that fund is going to turn the United States into a
“banana republic” and repeated the newly minted Republican meme that it was a
“shakedown”.
Gee, I wonder just who these guys are protecting? We definitely know who
the Dems are trying to protect, while the Republithugs seem to care more for
their donors than those losing everything while BP's big brass go yachting!
Just what political persuasion is Barrack Obama? He's certainly not a PROGRESSIVE. And hell, he's barely even a LIBERAL!
The fact that this White House
allowed a staffer to GLOAT over the Blanche Lincoln narrow win over Labor's man
Halter proves once again Obama isn’t who he said he was. The milquetoast Prez is
a sham. No sir, Barry is not one of us… and God only knows exactly what or who
he is… After considerable thought, I seriously doubt he even knows. It's
almost like it depends on the wind direction, or just how much the Republithugs
complain.
Need more proof? Just look at the campaign promises already broken. If it
was a progressive dream, he’s all but shattered it: escalation in Afghanistan,
retreat on Guantanamo, no movement on worker rights or comprehensive immigration
reform, dithering on 'don't ask, don't tell,' reverses on choice, delay on
climate change and new energy. Just look at his idea of good candidates.
Consider that Obama backed Spector over Joe Sestak, and Blanche "No to public
option" Lincoln over Halter. What the hell is Obama smoking? Then there is
his handling of the oil spill Bullshit.. why has he allowed this to get away
from him? Does he actually want the Bush comparisons?
Once again, he's lost my confidence.
I wish now, I'd worked even harder for Hillary.
Hypocrisy at its best.
Abstinence means what? Boinking a house staffer if you are a Republithug like Rep. Souder of Indiana. Apparently he was selling it, but personally HE never bought it. "I sinned against God, my wife and my family by having a mutual relationship with a part-time member of my staff," Souder said. "In the poisonous environment of Washington, D.C., any personal failing is seized upon and twisted for political gain. I am resigning rather than put my family through a painful drawn out process."
Rep. Mark Souder was recently nominated for his ninth term representing northeastern Indiana. He acknowledged an affair with a staffer Tuesday and unexpectedly announced his resignation, giving Democrats a chance at capturing what many had thought was a safe Republican seat.
The eight-term congressman apologized for his actions but provided no details. This douche actually used his mistress in a pro abstinence video where the pious one criticized DEMS for questioning the effectiveness, etc.
"I am so ashamed to have hurt the ones I love," he said at a news conference in Fort Wayne. "I am sorry to have let so many friends down, people who have worked so hard for me." Actually what he is sorry about is that the AFFAIR was uncovered... He's just another Republithug HYPOCRITE!
It is no surprise that with their total disdain for Government, the GOP has historically been abject failures at governing. So why do they keep fielding candidate after candidate? One obvious answer is to obstruct so they can claim government is a waste, etc.
George Bush, Dick Cheney and their bungling staffs spent eight years ruining our economy... even after they were handed a record surplus. And now that the GOP thinks you've forgotten just how inept they are as a governance body, they want you to put them back in the driver's seat with the ignition keys in hand. Scary, scary thought isn't it? So, tell them HELL NO!
In 2007, President Obama campaigned on the promise that he would “take a back seat to no one” in his support of Network Neutrality, the principle that stops Internet service providers from deciding which websites load fast, slow, or not at all. But if the press reports this week are accurate, the President and Federal Communications Commission Chairman Julius Genachowski are preparing to exit the back seat and jump out of the car altogether.
Last month, a federal appeals court ruled that the FCC, due to some terrible decisions made during the Bush administration, no longer has the authority to regulate broadband providers. That means the FCC can’t pass Network Neutrality rules, or even implement much of its National Broadband Plan, including programs to increase Internet adoption in poorer communities.
Conservatives and broadband providers hailed this decision as the end of Network Neutrality. But the story is not quite so simple. The truth is that the FCC still has the power to reverse the rejected reasoning of the Bush years, to re-establish its legal footing, and to protect the public interest.
It's obvious to me that the vast majority of illegals are simply people who are here to find work that is usually provided by greedy corporations and lazy rich people, so just arrest a few of Joe Arpaio's born again buddies, you know some CEOs and millionaires with illegal nannies and lawn care people, a few GOP elected officials and then believe me, that would end the problem practically overnight with almost no tax money or loss of liberties.
The Plum Line - Greg Sargent gave us this...
Queen of Tea Baggers
Palin Lies Again - boy that woman is on her back a lot!
On Facebook, the Queen of Tea Baggers Sarah Palin butchered President Obama’s quotes at the nuke summit in a strikingly dishonest (even for her) way, tearing them out of context to suggest he’s uncomfortable wielding American power and is hostile towards American exceptionalism:
Mr. President, is a strong America a problem?
Asked this week about his faltering efforts to advance the Middle East peace process, President Obama did something remarkable. In front of some 47 foreign leaders and hundreds of reporters from all over the world, President Obama said that “whether we like it or not, we remain a dominant military superpower.”
Whether we like it or not? Most Americans do like it.
Here’s what the President actually said:
But what we can make sure of is, is that we are constantly present, constantly engaged, and setting out very clearly to both sides our belief that not only is it in the interests of each party to resolve these conflicts but it’s also in the interest of the United States. It is a vital national security interest of the United States to reduce these conflicts because whether we like it or not, we remain a dominant military superpower, and when conflicts break out, one way or another we get pulled into them. And that ends up costing us significantly in terms of both blood and treasure.
As you can see, Palin and her team of ghostwriters plucked Obama’s remark out of context to quote him saying “whether we like it or not,” we are a superpower. In reality, he was saying that “whether we like it or not,” we get pulled into international conflicts that cost us American lives — so it’s in our security interests to resolve them. Greg Sargent - The Plum Line
"They are willfully misreading the bill or they are engaged in a cynical attempt to keep the president from achieving something." - Mark Halperin.
A January memo from Republican pollster Frank Luntz suggested that the public would be less likely to support financial reform if it was described as a fund to bail out banks.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell seemed to be taking Luntz' advice when he repeatedly used the word "bailout" to describe the bill in a speech on the Senate floor. "This bill not only allows for taxpayer-funded bailouts of Wall Street banks, it institutionalizes them," he said.
"The thing is, it's crazy," Austin Goolsbee, a senior White House economic advisor, told Scarborough. According to the legislation, if the federal government is forced to intervene in a failing bank in the future, "all of the money is paid by financial institutions in the form of a bank fee," said Goolsbee.
"Nobody's allowed to be bailed out. It specifically outlaws bailouts. They must be liquidated or broken into pieces and sold off. All the management must be fired, and the shareholders must be wiped out. It specifically outlaws exactly the thing that they just keep standing up and saying that it promotes," he explained.
Yet, The GOP plans to filibuster Financial Reform.
They claim the Dem plan will not prevent future Big Bank Bailouts... so let's take a look at the Big Bank Bailouts.. ok? Big Bank Bailouts Are always caused by Republicans, when they are in power. So, lets look at recent history: Crash of 1929. Hoover in the White House., Savings and Loan crash in the 1980s. Bush One, in the White House., 2008 Wall St. Banking Crash. Bush Two in the White House.
So it's quite apparent, the Best Way to Prevent bailouts, is to keep Republicans out of the White House. Just look at the havoc they create, when they get in.
Responding to criticism leveled by President Barack Obama in his weekly video address, Senate Minority Leader Mitch "no chin" McConnell accused the president on Sunday of politicizing the financial regulatory reform bill. "He is the one who is trying to politicize this issue," McConnell said on CNN's "State of the Union." "We are the ones who are trying to get it right. When the Kentucky bankers tell that this bill is a long way from being what we ought to pass, then it raises some concerns with me. And I think it does with all of our colleagues across the country who are hearing the same thing."
McConnell has taken heat from the Obama administration and Democratic congressional leaders for meeting with at least two dozen top Wall Street executives and then coming out against banking reform.
"He made the cynical and deceptive assertion that reform would somehow enable future bailouts when he knows that it would do exactly the opposite," Obama said in the video address, referring to McConnell.
But on "State of the Union" McConnell repeated assertions that the bill amounted to another bailout for banks and said that Obama and Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner were not on the same page on the issue. Mitch McConnell is simply lying!
"He ought to talk to his own treasury secretary, who agrees with me, as well as the Washington Post and the Wall Street Journal, that there is a bailout fund in the bill that was reported out of the Banking Committee, the partisan bill that came out of committee on a party-line vote," McConnell said.
When CNN host Candy Crowley pressed McConnell, saying that banks would have to fork over money for the fund not taxpayers, the Kentucky Republican replied: "Regardless of where the - how the money is produced, it is a bailout fund that sort of guarantees in perpetuity that we'll be intervening once again to bail out these big firms." Yes lying Senator, with THEIR own MONEY.
The Tea Party Express? Its Just A GOP Toy.
The Tea Party Express itself is as phony as their complaints about Taxes (95% of working American families have seen a taxation cut - your % of taxation is down since Obama). Raw Story brings us the details.
The Tea Party Express has been billed as an organic grassroots operation, but a newly uncovered document obtained by Politico suggests the movement has been successfully co-opted as a Republican fundraising ploy.
GOP political consultant Joe Wierzbicki floated the proposal a year ago today to create the Tea Party Express, a nationwide bus tour to "give a boost to our PAC and position us as a growing force/leading force as the 2010 elections come into focus." His idea eventually became one of the best known brands in the Tea Party movement.
The document cautioned planners to be careful when discussing the ruse to use Tea Parties for political gain. "We have to be very, very careful about discussing amongst ourselves anyone we include 'outside of the family' because quite frankly, we are not only not part of the political establishment or conservative establishment, but we are also sadly not currently a part of the 'tea party' establishment," Wierzbicki wrote.
Wierzbicki, who works for the Sacramento firm Russo Marsh + Rogers, went on to outline how conservative media including Fox News could be leveraged to hype the Tea Party Express. He recommended using "mentions and possibly even promotion from conservative/pro-tea party bloggers, talk radio hosts, Fox News commentators, etc..."
Citing Michigan as an example, he noted that one of the plan's primary goals would be to elect Republican candidates. "It is also worth considering making a return run to Michigan.
This video is from MSNBC's Countdown, broadcast April 14, 2010.
Former Republican Michigan governor, John Engler, has recently stated that he believes the Republican Party will do quite well in Michigan," he continued. Raw Story has more of the details.
Finally Some Real Truth from a Tea Partier - Selfishness is what's driving these people.
Grand Rapids resident Sharon Downer said, "[The health care bill is] going to tax the system way beyond what we have. For some reason, liberals seem to think people deserve paychecks who don't work and that's silly considering I don't want my hard earned money, my parents money, my siblings money to go to people who don't deserve it."
No, I guess she'd rather that hard earned money go to the Insurance Executive because by God, he deserves another couple of million in bonuses. Just kick someone else off the insured roll and deny that expensive surgery they need to live... right? Now that is fair... at least her money wouldn't have gone to some poor or middle class person. Selfish, I'd say so.. but I'm sure her Christian God is different than mine.
Is the TEA PARTY BIGOTED, or RACIST? Vote - share your opinion. Oh my God, there is a new survey out proclaiming the party members to be above average in education, slightly older white Americans. If that is so... why can't they spell? You've all seen the signs and misspellings. The average English speaker knows 10-20,000 words. The average teabagger can spell 11 of them!
Selfish Is As Selfish Does
Victoria Jackson is as dumb as most tea partiers, but this is over the top... and watch and listen as the rank and file eat it up. Whether he has a birth certificate or not, Obama is not an American. You see to be an American means that you agree wholeheartedly with the Tea Partiers and right wing, and more importantly, you must look like them.
It also helps that your trailer is parked in the right trailer park and facing South?
TALK
ABOUT TONE DEAF!
Frustrated by recent political setbacks, tea
party leaders and some conservative members of
the Oklahoma Legislature say they would like to
create a new volunteer militia to help defend
against what they believe are improper federal
infringements on state sovereignty.
Tea party movement leaders say they've discussed
the idea with several supportive lawmakers and
hope to get legislation next year to recognize a
new volunteer force. They say the unit would not
resemble militia groups that have been raided
for allegedly plotting attacks on law
enforcement officers.
"Is it scary? It sure is," said tea party leader
Al Gerhart of Oklahoma City, who heads an
umbrella group of tea party factions called the
Oklahoma Constitutional Alliance. "But when do
the states stop rolling over for the federal
government?"
Thus far, the discussions have been exploratory.
Even the proponents say they don't know how an
armed force would be organized nor how a
state-based militia could block federal
mandates. Critics also asserted that the force
could inflame extremism, and that the National
Guard already provides for the state's military
needs.
"Have they heard of the Oklahoma City bombing?"
said Joseph Thai, a constitutional law professor
at the University of Oklahoma. The state
observes the 15th anniversary of the
anti-government attack on Monday. Such actions
could "throw fuel in the fire of radicals," he
said.
Here is your

If you listen to the likes of Rush Limbaugh,
Glenn Beck, Newt Gingrich, Sean Hannity or the Twisted Sisters, Palin and
Bachmann, the GOP is THE PARTY of fiscal conservatives... right?
In New Orleans right now, the party of Hell No is basking in the sunlight provided by the Main Stream Media
while encouraging
their attendees to hate the president, and claim they are the party of fiscal
responsibility. Obviously they have yet to face up to reality. They were DRUNK with power for
over eight years, and spent like George W Bush spending Texas Rangers money on
booze and coke. Seriously, most all Americans know they are responsible
for the economy that Obama is slowly lifting us out of... and they are the party
that can't stop spending both donor and taxpayers money. Need more proof,
just look to Florida, let's forget about the spending by Michael "Know Where I
Can Find A Lesbian Sex Show" Steele.
Melanie Phister's was a 25-year-old junior staffer when the Florida Republican
Party gave her an American Express card. Over the next 2½ years, nearly
$1.3 million in charges wound up on Melanie Phister's AmEx — $40,000 at a London
hotel, and nearly $20,000 in plane tickets for indicted former House Speaker Ray
Sansom, his wife and kids, for starters. Statements show thousands spent on
jewelry, sporting goods and in one case $15,000 for what's listed as a
month-long stay at a posh Miami Beach hotel, but which the party says was a
forfeited deposit.
The credit card records, obtained by the St. Petersburg Times and Miami Herald,
offer the latest behind-the-scenes look at extravagant and free-wheeling
spending by the party touting fiscal restraint. Not only did certain elite
legislative leaders have their own party credit cards to spend donors' money
with little oversight, but Phister's records show these leaders also liberally
used an underling's card — without her knowledge, she says.
"I did not have the sole discretion to initiate credit card spending," Phister
said in an e-mail statement. "Over that period of time, there were multiple
instances when the card was used to make purchases that I had no knowledge of,
and I did not regularly review the monthly credit card statements which I
understand were sent directly to the Party's accounting office."
Even after a series of embarrassing revelations over profligate credit card
spending by the likes of Republican U.S. Senate frontrunner Marco Rubio, Sansom
and incoming House Speaker Dean Cannon — and pending state and federal
investigations of party finances — revelations of the huge charges on Phister's
card had veteran GOP fundraisers apoplectic. And these people want you to
think that suddenly they've found their inner fiscal conservative? Give me
a break.
Fox News is taken to the shed by Jon Stewart. Watch to see Gingrich and Hannity accurately depicted as Beavis and Butthead by their willful misunderstanding of the Obama policy, or in my words, their freaking lies! How did the public discourse in this country get so very poisoned? Share your opinion by voting here.
On tour its Twisted Sisters Bachmann, Palin and the ever charitable "I like to ride in comfort" Sean Hannity... in FULL wing nut overdrive!
and special suck up, guest star... Tim "I had to buy the BachmannRally.com web site domain name and redirect it to MY web site just to get attention" Pawlenty... What
is truly amazing is how well a draw these people are to the so-called REAL
Americans.
Let’s consider this trio. Fist a serial quitter with more ethics violations
and questions than IQ points, next a scam artist ripping off the survivors of our
brave veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice on foreign battle fields and
lastly, Looney Tune Bachmann who has called for treasonous acts and armed conflict with
our democratically elected Government.
Patriots my ass... these 3 are simply the Three Stooges without any hint of
actual humor! What is going on here? What is the reason for such a
fractured and disconnected national dialog? Why can't liberals and
conservatives get along? Care to offer an opinion, or two?

Big Man Cries Like a Baby
48 Year Old Crybaby Tea Partier Was Encouraged to be ANGRY by Fox News and its propagandists... So Says His Mommy
"Greg frequently gets in with a group of people that have really radical ideas and that are not consistent with myself or the rest of the family, which gets him into problems," Eleanor Giusti said. "I say Fox News, or all of those that are really radical, and he, that's where he comes from."
A San Francisco man accused of threatening House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in phone calls cried during his first court appearance, wearing a T-shirt and khakis and appearing disheveled.
Forty-eight-year-old Gregory Lee Giusti appeared Thursday morning before a federal magistrate, who read the charges of making obscene, threatening or harassing phone calls to a member of Congress.
Giusti is accused of making the calls because of anger over health care reform.
The magistrate ordered the U.S. Attorney's Office to interview Giusti to see if he is mentally competent enough to be released to a halfway house, or if he should continue to be detained.
If convicted, Giusti could receive a two-year prison sentence, $250,000 fine and one year of supervised release.
McCain claims he's never thought of himself as a Maverick? Then can someone explain the title of his autobogrpahy?
"McCain is shorting his own soul...He's driving down the price of his own soul by completely stripping it of its pride, its backbone, its integrity - all of its tangible assets - all the while knowing the value of his soul will soon plummet. Then, in a backdoor move, buys soul default swaps on the back end, makes a fortune and then picks his soul back up for a song when it hits bottom. And you know the worst part? Come election time, he's still get his tax-payer bailout and get re-elected. You know why? Because John McCain is too big to fail."
Jon Stewart goes right for the jugular of what is left of John McCain... I love it. How can any thinking, sober person in Arizona watch this meltdown? Better yet, how could anyone vote for this ego filled fool?
Now, this is sure to scare the beejesus out of you....can you imagine he and Palin in the white house now?

Raw Story Reveals
How They Cheat To Win
Sore Losers that's what
they are... the GOP is not just the party of Hell No!
Florida urologist Jack Cassell posted a sign on his office door
reading, "If you voted for Obama ... seek urologic care elsewhere.
Changes to your health care begin right now, not in four years."
Cassell, a registered Republican, quickly backpedaled in an
interview with the Orlando Sentinel, but said he's perfectly happy
to lose business over the sign. "I'm not turning anybody away, that
would be unethical," he told the Sentinel. "But if they read the
sign and turn the other way, so be it."
Patients who continue past the sign on Cassell's door find a waiting
room stacked with Republican pamphlets opposing health care reform,
underneath a sign reading, "This is what the morons in Washington
have done to your health care. Take one, read it and vote out anyone
who voted for it."
Rep. Alan Grayson (D-Fla.) told the Sentinel he was "disgusted" by
Cassell's behavior.
"Maybe he thinks the Hippocratic Oath says, 'Do no good'," Grayson
said. "If this is the face of the right wing in America, it's the
face of cruelty. ... Why don't they change the name of the
Republican Party to the Sore Loser Party?"
On Saturday, Alan Colmes had the
displeasure of interviewing said doctor and found out that the man
doesn't even know the details of the health care reform bill:
Dr. Jack Cassell, the Orlando urologist who put a sign on his door
letting patients know he doesn’t want to have to treat them if they
are Obama/health care reform supporters, was on my radio show Friday
night, but didn’t seem to know much about the health care bill he’s
criticizing.
Cassell: Hospice cuts in 2012…Does the government want people to die
slowly?
Colmes: Do you really think the government wants people dead?
Cassell: Well I think that they’re cutting all supportive care, like
nursing homes, ambulance services…
Colmes: What to you mean they’re cutting nursing homes?
Cassell: They’re cutting nursing home reimbursements
Colmes: Isn’t what they’re cutting under the Medicare plan what was
really double dipping; they were getting credits and they were
getting to deduct them at the same time.
Cassell: Well you know, I can’t tell you exactly what the deal is.
Colmes: If you can’t tell us exactly what the deal is, why are you
opposing it and fighting against it?
Wow, a typical tea bagger - they don't know jack! They've
just heard whatever the GOP wants them to hear and feel they must
protest. Well, no one has ever accused these knuckle draggers of being mental giants, just ill informed loudmouths... led by their white trash Queen Sarah that is all.
Who knew there were so many?
Caroline Hunter, a Bush-appointed Federal Election Commissioner who
remains in office, provided misleading statements under oath in an
effort to conceal Republican National Committee involvement in vote
suppression activities during the 2004 presidential election, a Raw
Story investigation has found.
Legal experts say Hunter's submission of misleading statements under
oath is a serious ethical and professional breach which could
warrant a bar review and potential disbarment. At the time, Hunter
was serving as deputy counsel to the Republican National Committee.
How a young Republican lawyer became a central witness
In the final days of the 2004 presidential election, the Democratic
National Committee files an injunction against the Republican
National Committee in New Jersey federal court, alleging its
involvement in using lists of returned mail to challenge 35,000
newly registered Ohio voters. This tactic, also known as voter
caging, is historically employed to suppress votes from minority and
low-income citizens who tend to vote Democratic.
Sworn testimony from a young Republican lawyer plays a central role
in the RNC's defense. That lawyer's name is Caroline Hunter.
In her affidavit, submitted under penalty of perjury, Hunter claims
"the RNC is not initiating, controlling, directing, or funding any
programs of 'voter challenges' … including the effort by the Ohio
Republican Party to challenge voter registrations in Ohio."
"Although representatives of the RNC were involved in the emails
discussing the possibility of the challenges described above," she
continues, "the RNC has not initiated any challenges to the absentee
ballots in Ohio or in any other state."
Burchfield tells the court that Hunter's affidavit is proof the RNC
isn't violating the decree. Rather, he says, her statement
demonstrates the party was diligent to avoid "initiating,
controlling, directing or funding" any voter challenger programs.
Yet her affidavit is submitted along with email communications
showing RNC members engaging in vote caging activities in Ohio. They
also demonstrate that the RNC worked in concert with state
Republican Party officials. Hunter is on a few of the emails but her
involvement is unclear.
After hearing arguments from both sides, Judge Debevoise rules that
the RNC has violated the decree.
In granting the injunction, Debevoise specifically addresses
Hunter's statement denying that the Party was involved in vote
caging activities. He finds her sworn testimony -- made as a witness
-- unsupported by the facts in the case.
"Miss Hunter," Judge Debevoise tells the court, "states in a
conclusory way that, 'To the best of my knowledge, after due
investigation, the RNC is not initiating, controlling, directing, or
funding any programs of voter challenges as described above,
including the effort by the Ohio Republican Party to challenge voter
registration in Ohio as alleged.'"
"Miss Hunter's information and belief," he concludes, "is belied by
the evidence developed during the brief period of discovery.
Emails show Hunter received caging email
Hunter was also named as a recipient on one of the most
incriminating RNC emails discussing vote-caging activities in Ohio.
The message included plans to roll out similar activities in
Florida, Pennsylvania, Nevada and New Mexico.
Her name, along with others in the RNC hierarchy, appears on other
emails as a scheduled participant in conference calls to discuss
voter challenges. The subject lines on the emails are "Cuyahoga
Returned List" and "Voter Reg Fraud Strategy conference calls."
Yes indeed Michelle Bachmann,' he's the Man alright.
Michael "Diamond Jim" Steele... big spender... of everyone else's $$!
RNC Chairman Michael Steele,
the man spending donor money like a drunken sailor. He's even wanted to buy
his own private jet to whisk him from topless club to topless club... (LESBIAN
themed topless clubs even). Read more
about that discussion on the Daily Caller Dot Com. The RNC explains that Steele charters jets only when
commercial service is unavailable, or when his tight schedule requires it.
“Anytime the chairman has taken any private travel has been a either to a route
that doesn’t exist or because of connections and multiple travel to where he
just wasn’t able to do so,” Heye said. Yet Steele’s office repeatedly refused to
explain in specific terms the circumstances of the February charter flights.
Once on the ground, FEC filings suggest, Steele travels in style. A February RNC
trip to California, for example, included a $9,099 stop at the Beverly Hills
Hotel, $6,596 dropped at the nearby Four Seasons, and $1,620.71 spent [update:
the amount is actually $1,946.25] at Voyeur West Hollywood, a bondage-themed
nightclub featuring topless women dancers imitating lesbian sex. The GOP,
the morality police for the rest of us. So much for Family Values and
longer will Michael be known as the Man of “steel” , no sir... his new nickname
is “woody.” Don't you know Clarence Thomas is GREEN with envy?
RNC trips to other cities produced bills from a long list of chic and costly
hotels such as the Venetian and the M Resort in Las Vegas, and the W (for a
total of $19,443) in Washington. A midwinter trip to Hawaii cost the RNC
$43,828, not including airfare.
Steele himself declined numerous interview requests, though his defenders point
out that luxurious accommodations are sometimes necessary to attract big-time
donors, especially since Republicans remain in the minority in Washington.

Proof Positive the extreme rightwing of the GOP,
the party of HELL NO is a Full House of whack jobs who are prone to violence. 70 yr old Harry Weisiger
A Nashville man says he and his 10-year-old daughter were victims of
road rage Thursday afternoon, all because of a political bumper sticker on his
car.
He said Harry Weisiger gave him the bird and rammed into his vehicle, after
noticing an Obama-Biden sticker on his car bumper.
Duren had just picked up his 10-year-old daughter from school and had her in the
car with him.
"He pointed at the back of my car," Duren said, "the bumper, flipped me off, one
finger salute."
Once he started driving again, down Blair Boulevard, towards his home, he said,
"I looked in the rear view mirror again, and this same SUV was speeding, flying
up behind me, bumped me."
Duren said he applied his brake and the SUV smashed into the back of his car.
He then put his car in park to take care of the accident, but Weisiger started
pushing the car using his SUV.
Duren said, "He pushed my car up towards the sidewalk, almost onto the
sidewalk."
I tried to call Harry Weisiger to find out what he was thinking, but to no
avail. Interesting enough, Harry K. Weisiger is still listed on the web site for
Hayward, formerly Cumberland Real Estate, Inc., but they say he's been retired
for a few years? Humm, I wonder why someone who retired years ago is still
listing real estate and continues to have a prominent place on the company's
web site? I spoke to the reporter who broke the story and she said the man
lost his wife a few weeks ago and that might have helped trigger his road rage
incident. Those we spoke to regarding Mr. Weisiger to a person said he has
steadfast political beliefs and in the past has had political aspirations of his
own... the man is 70 years old now, and I guess after this embarrassing incident
those dreams may be at an end.
Its a shame that you can't trust a damn
word that comes from the mouth of RepubliTHUG Eric Cantor.
Just like Lou Dobbs' errant
attempt at martyrdom, Eric's has blown up in his face too. Cantor said,
"I have been directly threatened. A bullet was shot through the window of my
campaign office in Richmond."
Apparently the claim was pure bullshit just like everything else he says.
Richmond police spokesman Gene Lepley told CNN Friday that it was the result of
"random gunfire." The building, which has several tenants including an
office used by Cantor, was unoccupied at the time, the news release said. And police said the bullet struck at about 1 a.m. on Tuesday. The
preliminary investigation showed that "a bullet was fired into the air and
struck the window in a downward direction, landing on the floor about a foot
from the window. The round struck with enough force to break the windowpane but
did not penetrate the window blinds." Slightly different a story from
"I have been directly threatened." My God Eric Cantor, what a pussy
you are!
And of course FAUX News jumped on and repeated the claim mercilessly. Time
and time again in a desperate attempt to spin the propaganda in the best way for
the rightwing, FAUX News gave
credence to this bullshit story. Fair and balanced... yeah, right.

*** Please note how every item on the list is a benefit to most Americans,
which obviously translates to an increase in disposable income, making it even
more difficult for RepublTHUGS to repeal it.
As Joe Biden so succinctly put it... its
"A Big F---ing Deal." Only hours after the president signed health care reform legislation into
law on Tuesday, the immediate political benefits for the Democratic Party are
already coming into focus.
According to a Gallup/USA Today poll conducted the day after health care
legislation passed the House of Representatives, 49 percent of the respondents
think the passage of reform is a "good thing," compared to the 40 percent who
think it is bad. The numbers are a welcome relief for a party and a presidency
that had been bleeding popular support over the course of the past six months.
Democrats didn't just get a health-care-related boost in the realm of public
opinion. The Democratic National Committee reported raising more than $1 million
in donations on Tuesday even without making a direct ask. The money is expected
to pour in for other campaign committees as well.
Responding to the growing GOP effort to get the legislation repealed, the
Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee launched a new fundraising toolbar on
its website, pointing out which Republican senatorial candidates are ready to
take away what particular benefits of reform.
And oddly, the GOP want to try and repeal the new healthcare reform bill? They (RepubliTHUGS)
are also still claiming the American People don't like this Government Take
Over, and that it was rammed down our throats, etc. How out of touch can
privileged, rich, white men get? I guess in their Country Club circles
everyone has enough money that they can afford health coverage and don't want
you or I to share in their good fortune!
Obama is making Bush look less PARANOID
Why is Obama being so secretive? When he took office almost immediately he made
the promise of greater government transparency. Ye his administration is more
often citing exceptions to the nation's open records law to withhold
federal records even as the number of requests for information declines. This
according to a review by the Associated Press of agency audits about Freedom of
Information Act requests.
Oddly, the Obama Administration is quashing more requests than Bush ever did.
Among the most frequently cited reasons for keeping records secret: one that
Obama specifically told agencies to stop using so frequently. The Freedom of
Information Act exception, known as the "deliberative process" exemption, lets
the government withhold records that describe its decision-making behind the
scenes. So far, Obama's directive, memorialized in written instructions
from the Justice Department, appears to have been widely ignored.
Major agencies cited the exemption at least 70,779 times during the 2009 budget
year ( actually just in nine months time), up from 47,395 times during President
George W. Bush's final full budget year, according to annual reports filed by
federal agencies.
As you can imagine, the government's report card on transparency is the Freedom
of Information Act, or better yet, how widely it is used, or not. In other
words, just how transparently it goes about making its decisions of what
information it is willing to share. When Obama promised last year to be more
open he said doing so "encourages accountability through transparency," and
said: "My administration is committed to creating an unprecedented level of
openness in government."
In a statement Tuesday during Sunshine Week, when news organizations promote
open government and freedom of information, Obama noted the release of White
House visitor logs and federal data online in recent months said his
administration was recommitted "to be the most open and transparent ever."
"We are proud of these accomplishments, but our work is not done," Obama said.
"We will continue to work toward an unmatched level of transparency,
participation and accountability across the entire administration."
So what happened to that promise? The AP's review of annual Freedom of
Information Act reports filed by 17 major agencies found that the
administration's use of nearly every one of the law's nine exemptions to
withhold information from the public increased during fiscal year 2009, which
ended last October.
HEALTH CARE REFORM FALLOUT
Who's WATERLOO is it? Some say the GOP's like David Frum, and many are
angry. The party of NO, the immature, petulant, kicking. screaming,
holding their breath, promising to never eat again GOP members are saddened,
upset and righteously pissed off. "There will be no cooperation for the rest of the year," McCain
said during an interview Monday on an Arizona radio affiliate. "They have
poisoned the well in what they've done and how they've done it." Wow, what
a threat. So that means RepubliTHUGS are going to continue to do what
they've been doing for the last fourteen months? So how'd that work out
for you Republicans on healthcare reform? So more of the party of NO for
the remainder of the year huh? Well, as George W Bush liked to say, bring
it.
The individual mandate is an "unprecedented overreach by the federal government
forcing individual citizens to buy a good or a service for no other reason then
they happen to be alive or a person," Republican governor of Minnesota Tim
Pawlenty said today on "Good Morning America." Uh, wasn't that a
Richard Nixon, or Ronald
Reagan idea? Either Nixon, or Reagan the patron Saint of Republithugs presented that idea
when he was discussing healthcare reform... back in the day. So, why does Tim Pawlenty hate Ronald Reagan,
or is it Richard Nixon that first asked for an Employee mandate?
Wow,
Obama has delivered something. No, its not perfect, or even close to all
we wanted, but still... CHANGE HAS COME, Progressives win and Regressives (the
GOP) lose. The American condition is much improved and will continue to
IMPROVE. Just
like Social Security, Medicare and Civil Rights, the Republicans are on the
wrong side of history. But even THEY can be dragged, kicking and screaming
as John Boehner did last night, into the year 2010 and possibly beyond.
House passes
health care reform, the most sweeping
social legislation in more than four
decades.
Bill passes 219-212... of course
the party of NO in a last ditch effort,
still tried in vain to kill the bill!
REFORM is here... the votes are in,
and soon Healthcare Reform will be the law of the land in spite of the party of
NO. Republithugs did their best, told lie after lie, brought up the
boogeyman and of course spent millions to defeat the middle class and low income
into submission. Yet, in a matter of minutes, they will have lost and
America has won. God bless America.
Here's a good question, who gets to book Rush Limbaugh's flight to Costa Rica?
And oh yes, if these Republithugs are serious about the reducing the goddamned
deficit, they should vote to end both the Iraq and Afghanistan wars NOW!
Stewart Skewers Beck
- and for good reason because all of Glenn's
buffoonery needs as much exposure as possible!
Sadly, the show has enormous ratings which is bewildering. I mean, to think that many people are so immensely stupid - bigoted - sheeplike - to believe and enjoy Beck's inane ranting and ravings.
Now Get This....
This is why they are called REPUBLITHUGS....
Apparently deriding, humiliating, belittling and heckling a handicapped man is what Republithugs do. This is all you need to know about Republicans and hard core conservatives. Compassion... I think NOT! Americans for Prosperity needs to hear from you and your friends. Contact these sub humans at: Phone: (703)-224-3200, or toll free: (866)-730-0150 or visit their site at: http://www.americansforprosperity.org These pathetic people also have state chapters... contact your state office too. When I contacted the Texas chapter their spokesperson claimed the 2 individuals at the Ohio rally where this incident took place were "random" participants of the rally. When pressed she actually denied the fools that heckled and abused the person on the ground in this video were members of Americans for Prosperity. Well, I'm sure they aren't members.... NOW Its strange that the right leaning Columbus Dispatch didn't follow up on their video to find out if the two sickening so called people depicted harassing the man with Parkinsons were members of American Prosperity... isn't it? Why no follow up? I phoned the Dispatch this morning and as of yet, no follow up to report. When asked if they had determined if the 2 wonderful human beings in the video were members of American for Prosperity, they had not even investigated that aspect... yet. A very sad state of affairs for American journalism... isn't it?
Shameful State Chapters (after viewing the above video... if you find your state has a chapter, please call and tell them what you think.)
Lindsey Graham rewrites history and omits the psycho right wingers who caused Bush's immigration bill to fail in interview with ABC News. Geez, why would they want to try and woe minorities such as Hispanics... now?
Lindsey Graham, a who favorite date for the MSM, and one who appears on the tube nearly as often as gramps McCain did his best Karl Rove and tried to rewrite history and blame the Democratic Party for the failure of the Bush immigration bill. Apparently, he doesn't remember that Karl Rove's plan to try and capture the Latino vote failed miserably as the xenophobic right wing talk shows, bloggers and of course the toxic Tom Tancredo's went ballistic and ran off minority support.
ABC TAPPER: Well, the leader of the Republican charge, other than President Bush, for immigration reform last time was your dear friend Senator John McCain, who, as far as I can tell, is completely AWOL from the debate. Oh, much like Bush while in the Texas Air National Guard?
I know he has a tough primary against a more conservative -- arguably more conservative challenger there. But shouldn't -- I mean, where -- what is his commitment? It certainly doesn't look unwavering.
GRAHAM: blah, blah... blah... More total BS defending his BBF...... and basically offering nothing tangible.
ABC TAPPER: To be fair, Senator Graham, the reason that immigration reform didn't pass last time, even with you, Senator McCain and President Bush pushing for it, was because of the Republican Party. The Republican Party seems in no --
GRAHAM: That's not fair.
ABC TAPPER: Why is that not fair? Maybe because the party of privileged, overweight, rich, white men have no tent, and least of all a big tent.
GRAHAM: That's not fair at all.
ABC TAPPER: Even Republican members who are part of the coalition voted against it.
Here's a great new web site for your perusal: CHRONICLING The Misdeeds of the RICH, The Evil of Rich People, or The Evil Done by The Rich.
The swindling saga of legendary Wall Street conman Bernard Madoff has inspired the creation of The Vile Plutocrat, a website devoted to the notion that "rich people suck."
The Vile Plutocrat gathers news about the misdeeds of "the entitled class," mixes in scathing editorial commentary and then links stories to biographies of the purported villains.
"The idea was born out of the Bernie Madoff scandal," Paul Burton of 16 Toads Design told AFP late Saturday at a South By South West Interactive gathering here.
"In a nutshell, we are looking for any kind of news that revolves around people in the upper echelons of society that are doing something that takes money away from the middle class."
"The short version of the website is rich people suck," Burton said of the small operation based in the US state of Georgia. "We pull in news from around the world and it involves people from every country."
What a scream...
Karl Rove lies like the pig he is and Brokaw allows it while NBC gives him a forum to practice his revisionist craft. WHY? What motivation has NBC to help this SNAKE OIL salesman hawk his book of bountiful lies? Crooks and Liars give us the video of Rove's bald face lies.
Anyone with a brain that isn't Bush's brain knows that within days after the U.S. invasion, then-Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz told a congressional panel that Iraqi oil revenues would help pay for reconstructing the country, i.e. a cost of the war. “The oil revenue of that country could bring between 50 and 100 billion dollars over the course of the next two or three years. We’re dealing with a country that could really finance its own reconstruction, and relatively soon,” he said.
One month before the war, then-White House press secretary Ari Fleischer said Iraq “is a rather wealthy country. … And so there are a variety of means that Iraq has to be able to shoulder much of the burden for their own reconstruction."
Turd Blossom's lies are so predictable, but even more predictable are the MSM reporters allowing the lies to go unchallenged. And to think Brokaw was once a respected journalist.
Because investigators with Toyota Motor Corp. and the federal government were unable to make a Toyota Prius speed out of control as its owner said it did on a California freeway, and according to a memorandum obtained Saturday by The Associated Press that a congressional spokesman says casts doubt on the driver's story; Republithugs that love to spend time stalking at Hugffington Post concluded that the driver lied and eventually with their ignorant posts began to cast blame on Obama, Dems and of course trial lawyers.
Yeah, yeah somehow I knew this accelerator problem on Toyota cars was Obama's fault... or maybe Pelosi and Reid, or maybe the unions, but no doubt trial lawyers for sure.
Screw safety first, its making that almighty dollar is the only thing that Republithugs care about. Republithugs you guys are a riot. Your worshipping at the altar of greed will one day be your undoing... and I hope it's sooner than anyone thinks... in other words, I hope it gets accelerated.
Now Get This....
This is why they are called REPUBLITHUGS....
Not more than two days after her horrible accident, Harry Reid's wife is savaged by the most ignorant of idiot Republithugs. The moron had to politicize her auto accident. Seriously....
Read Dan Riehl's own words:
If Democrats want so badly to abort babies because of (healthcare costs), why are we bothering with someone who has a broken neck and back at 69? It sounds to me like she’s pretty well used up and has probably been living off the taxpayers for plenty of years to begin with. Aren’t we at least going to get a vote on it?
It's possible that Riehl is trying to allude to the non-existent "death panels" made infamous by Sarah Palin. But if Riehl is attempting irony, it falls seriously flat. Writers across the Web have quickly denounced his statement that Reid "pull the plug" on his wife.
Come on, Harry - do your civic duty. The nation's broke and counting on you guy. Pull the plug and get back to work. And don't bill us for a full day today, either. This is no time to be sloughing off. Air freight her home, you can bury her during recess on your own time and dime. Or are you going to bill us for that, too?
Lord knows you can polish it all you want, but a turd is still a turd and this one is one of the biggest. I'll bet this asswipe has pleaded for bi-partisanship and civility in the recent past... what a friggin idiot. Dems wake up, this is the mentality of Republithugs... they can not be reasoned with... they don't think!
Glenn Beck is a national embarrassment.....
Click to view the video: Glenn Beck Attacks Progressives
Fox host Glenn Beck spent much of the last week claiming that a normal, everyday progressive was linked to Stalin, Elvis, Joe Biden's cousin, and the guy who came up with the idea of taxes. And for real, humiliating himself with his torturous hour long interview with ERIC MASSA where Massa outwitted Beck throughout the entire program. Imagine that... Beck was shown up by the Looney Tune former Congressman Beck had so hoped he could manipulate into spilling the beans on those evil Democrats. Instead, Massa bewildered Beck leaving him speechless for much of the hour long show.
Colbert Hammers GOP For Insane Euphemisms
Thanks to Frank Luntz and his Word Doctors, this is not the first time Republicans have twisted words around to follow their agenda, citing classics like "death panel" and "no." And like all the others, "nuclear option" is no less extreme.
To make his point, Colbert noted that any word could be twisted around to have a negative connotation, and conservatives may need to make the health care bill sound even more evil to sway the American people. "Doctors" could be called "rubber gloved ass-probers" who "keep you from going to heaven."
Fat Ass, loudmouth, lying Rush Limbaugh gives DEMS all the incentive and reason they need to pass healthcare reform... a caller asked the slimy one where he would go for health care if Congress enacts reform:
Limbaugh: I don't know. I'll just tell you this, if this passes and it's five years from now and all that stuff gets implemented -- I am leaving the country. I'll go to Costa Rica.
Now the bloated one shows his real colors... some Patriot huh? Things don't go his way so he takes his football and goes home... to Costa Rica... ha ha what a joke! He wants to go to Costa Rica... where they have UNIVERSAL Healthcare? Interesting... what a commie.
UPDATE: You knew it was too good to be trure. The asswipe we know as Rush Limbaugh has already changed his tune: Now he claims what he meant was that he'd go to Costa Rica for his healthcare... not actually MOVE there. Yo dimly lit one, the fact of the matter is that Costa Rica has far superior "Socialist-Communist-anti-American" health care. In fact. it's not just for their citizens, tourists and visitors of all kinds can partake... even FAT, lying druggies like you.
Just six more months and US Troops are suppose to leave Iraq. Iraq just held elections again and this time they were less violent and corrupt (biting tongue... tongue bleeding) so we've been told. So, Jon Stewart devoted a little air time to the Iraq experience and what all this means. He singles out praise for many of the players... and I do mean PLAYERS!
While interviewed on his book tour with Matt Lauer,
Karl Rove claims that he never used "Dirty Tricks." Turd Blossom also insisted he is not a negative campaigner. He also claims he's not now, nor ever has been overweight. Yes, he was beaten up by a girl. And that contrary to most views, he says his father wasn't gay. He goes on to say George Bush never lied and was not AWOL as an Air Force National Guard Pilot. He also proclaims the Iraq War was justified, because HE said so... and the rotund one spews out so many other lies that he of course says that he nor Bush ever uttered in his new book Courage and Consequence: My Life as a Conservative in the Fight.
Ah but of course, Matt "I'll believe anything a GOP gas bag tells me" Lauer was more than happy NOT to challenge any one of these ridiculous assertions by Mr. Turd Blossom. Still, its a great read of Pure Fiction, and you'll laugh your ass off at the absurdity of it all.
If you'd like to see some of the BS that Rove put in his book... check out media watchdog Media Matters and read a few of the Rovian lies. They are priceless...
The RNC caught demeaning it's own donors and intentionally trying to make Americans fearfull of their President and Government... I'm so confused. I thought that was the job of Teabaggers....
The Republican National Committee showed little respect for its donors and is trying to manipulate their donors by playing on "fear" of President Barack Obama and the top Republican in the Senate doesn't like it. Politico revealed a GOP PowerPoint presentation last week that recommended using fear and extreme negative feelings about Democrats to raise money. Apparently this is what Republightugs call bi-partisan.
"That sort of thing is certainly not helpful. I can't imagine why anybody thought that would be helpful," Sen. Mitch McConnell told ABC's Matt Dowd Sunday.
"I don't like it. I don't know anybody that does," he said. Oh yeah, and we all believe you Mitchie Boy.
When asked if someone should be fired for the presentation the Senate Minority Leader tried to distance himself from the RNC. "Look, I don't run the RNC. That's up to them," he said. I still don't get it. He said he didn't like it... what? The fact that the RNC cares so little for its donors or simply that they GOT CAUGHT? Which is it McConnell?
Why does CNN think anyone cares what Tom DeLay thinks?
The crook should be behind bars and not trying to compare his crime with what got Charlie Rangell admonished by the ethics committee. What he did was unlawful both in Texas and nationally.... Charlie broke no LAWS. Yet that idiot Candy Crowley allowed him to make the claim that there was a real, an honest comparison. Among other crap that spewed from the bug man's mouth was this little gem. and showing his true compassion for all of mankind, Delay called Sen. Jim Bunning (R-Ky.) "brave" on Sunday for launching a one-man filibuster of unemployment benefits, arguing that they dissuaded people from going out and finding work. Seriously this dickbird actually said, "unemployment benefits keeps people from going and finding jobs. In other words, they have no jobs because they don't want jobs..? Someone please, tell me why does CNN continue to promote this dirt bag?
John Patrick Bedell, the lone wolf shooter of two Pentagon Police Officers is NOT a terrorist. You betcha! Even though the 36-year-old right wing extremist is a fervent anti government believer and was most likely incited by FOX News, the Glen Beck's, Sara Palin's, Michelle Malkin's and that Minnesota wacko Michelle Bachman, or just about most any tea bagger of this world.
John Patrick Bedell
Oh no, not terrorism... it was a US citizen, so it can't be called terrorism... after all he wasn't Muslim... you know?
Sadly, authorities were warned, but apparently nothing if anything was done even after being warned of his unstable behavior, extremist views he was still allowed to purchase a gun even with his history of either bipolar disorder, or manic depression (John Patrick Bedell was in and out of treatment programs for several years).
Why? Seriously, how does HE get a gun? He was missing for four days when his parents called the authorities. So why wasn't a red flag raised? He spent time in Reno, NV where he was given a citation for marijuana possession, or cultivation. Later on he was ticketed for speeding in Amarillo, Texas and still nothing was done. Although, his parent asked that they try to send him to a mental institution, but he refused and the the patrolman who had stopped him go with a warning.
Conservative propagandist Michelle Malkin now says that Bedell was a registered Democrat... really? If so, he didn't share many of the parties core values did he? He does however share many of the Republithugs: In an Internet posting, Bedell had suggested an act like the 2001 terrorist attacks could have been the work of a criminal organization controlling the U.S. government, accepting a "sacrifice of thousands of its citizens ... as a small cost in order to perpetuate its barbaric control."Yes mam Michelle, his deluded and venomous view of the government seems pretty far out there, but leftist? Actually it seems much closer to the views of your compadres. You know like the right wing zealots like you and say... other people much closer to the Republithug power and authority who are out there preaching these days.
"America is teetering towards tyranny," Republican Sen. Jim DeMint of South Carolina told the Conservative Political Action Conference last month. He accused the governing Democrats of peddling socialist policies "that have been the enemy of freedom for centuries all over the world." Oh yes and before you say that his internet posting was leftist because it was a 911 conspiracy theory, please consider that little lady from Texas who won what was it... 19% of the Republican vote in the Republithug primary for governor? It just proves that people like Malkin, Limbaugh and Beck with the help of Fox News, have dumbed down their audiences so that they will believe damn near anything.
Since the first black president was elected, Republithugs have cried the sky is falling over and over again. Republithugs have called any and every Obama policy either a form of socialism, or even Nazism. I will admit they've done it for decades, but not as intensely until the black dude took power... why?.
There is a new movement afloat... the new proposal would put Ronald Reagan's face on the $50 bill. Yikes, Howdy Doody on the fifty? North Carolina Rep. Patrick McHenry's bill to replace Ulysses S. Grant's image with the 40th president's generates controversy. Good lord, 45,000 people die each year without health care and this Yo Yo fiddles with a bill to pay homage to the Patron Saint of STUPIDITY.
"President Reagan is indisputably one of the most transformative presidents of the 20th century," McHenry said in a letter to colleagues seeking their support. "Like President Roosevelt on the dime and President Kennedy on the half dollar, President Reagan deserves a place of honor on our nation's currency."
The $50.00 bill is NOT the appropriate setting for Ronald Reagan face...
No sir, at the bottom of public urinals is more apt a spot. You see, that way we can all trickle down on a worthwhile target.

Rachel Maddow sets the record straight. She calls out Orrin Hatch for his lies and the Washington Post for printing them. In Sen. Hatch's column he says, "Reconciliation on health care would be an assault to the democratic process," and argues against the use of reconciliation, a simple majority voting procedure, to "to jam through [health care] legislation." Maddow points out the pompous gas bag Sen. Hatch used reconciliation no less than 10 times over the past 21 years. The GOP is full of hypocrites.
Hutchison Concedes Texas G.O.P. Primary for Governor to Perry
Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison Tuesday night conceded the Texas Republican primary for governor to the incumbent, Rick Perry, saying the party should unite behind the governor so he can win in November.
Just proves that Texas has more wing nuts per square inch than any 20 other states combined... secede, please... do us all a favor.
Wing nut and lying bastard Roger Ailes, president of the propaganda Channel (FOX), suggested in his interview with the National Review that there is no definition for success in Afghanistan. Huh? And what was the definition for over EIGHT years in Iraq you fatass Republithug? Obama has done more in less than a year of taking over the two wars started by the Cheney/Bush presidency in order to define success in Afghanistan than Cheney and Bush did for the entire duration of their disastrous term as Commander in Chief. Click here to play the ugly toads interview segment. You may need Quicktime to play... click here to install if need be.
"I didn't think that escalating 400,000 more troops [was] warranted [during Vietnam] in a jungle where I didn't know what we were going to win. It's a little bit like Afghanistan right now. Now I understand the nuclear issue, but there is a problem -- when you send people into war, you have to tell them what they're trying to win." WTF, and you called anyone that said that during the Bush atrocity treasonous, lying, and Un American. But now, because what... the President is black, a Democrat it's patriotic to say that now?
And the lying bastards at FOX want to be believed? Oh yes, just in case you've been living under a rock for the last 8 or so years, Ailes' position is basically that "we are escalating a war that we cannot win because there's no definition of winning -- [which is] diametrically opposed to virtually every utterance on the subject of Afghanistan that his network has ever broadcast." I guess this fool believes no one paid attention during the Cheney/Bush years? Just how stupid does Jabba the Hut think we are?
Wow, this turd Ailes has selective memory. Not more than a year or two ago, he and all the other wing nuts were saying to heed the advice of the Generals on the ground. Now the asswipe wants to change his story... why? Maybe because you want keep disseminating your vile, right wing propaganda? Could it simply be because you want to keep deceiving your retarded audience? You just want to keep dumbing down the ill informed, uneducated, rednecks that tune into your network BS?
Who's Dumber than Palin?
Sen. Jim Bunning's office number is: 202-224-4343 - CALL HIM and let him know how you feel about his crusade.
GOP Gasbag Jim Bunning decides the poor need to get even poorer, and who are they to get in the way of him watching Kentucky B-Ball? Sen. Jim Bunning Filibusters Unemployment Extension, and because their leaders have no gonads, the Dems Roll Over and allow this one simpleton to screw with millions of unemployed and of course the states where they would be getting unemployment benefits. Oh yeah and oddly very few MSM outlets identified this ass as the Republithug he is... they simply headlined with "Senator."
If the DEM's had any TRUE leaders... especially when it comes to Obama, and Reid, they'd make certain the entire GOP pays a price for what this asswipe Bunning has done. If I'm not mistaken, the GOP helped fund a competitor, or primary challenger to him not long ago. So even they know this man is wackier than Sarh Plain. Of course he can afford to behave this badly because he's retiring. He claims he's just crusading against deficit spending, but I'll bet he's doing this more to derail the badly needed stimulus spending and to hinder any immediate job creation.
Of course, the whole lie through your teeth to scare people into thinking the boogey man is for real deserves a whole lot of payback as well.
Click to see this pompous ass yelling at ABC News reporters... what a total asshole....
The GOP should pay a steep price for what this idiot has done... and if Obama had any huevos, he'd lead the charge. Does anyone know if this one man crusade against logic is the same guy that played major league baseball? Well yes, this is the same Bunning that pitched in the majors. So, someone needs to check for steroids and other drugs... he appears to be on crack. Well then again, which Repuke doesn't?
Water cooler chatter:
Add another chapter to the litany of hypocritical statements from 6 Pack Sarah Palin!
Remember when the half governor of Alaska warned unsuspecting Americans not once but as often as she could to the dangers of "death panels" as explained rather unsubstantiated and wide of the mark to us all on Sarah "Dimwit" Palin's Facebook page and while out on the campaign trail?
She was utterly distraught at the thought her grandson could be the next victim of "socialized medicine".
Well guess what? Recently released documents from the custody battle show clearly Tripp Palin Johnston has socialized health care through Indian Health Services and the Alaska Native Medical Center.
Palin's family has federally funded health care afforded to them... ah, but if you had it Barack Obama might kill you. And to think many white trash, redneck, uneducated and ill informed Americans still believe in this disaster of a human being? Why, or better yet, HOW?
The great state of New Mexico Screws It Up As Always.
We had a chance to lead the nation in doing something positive, inspirational and good for the nation as a whole, but thanks to REPUBLITHUGS, the New Mexico legislature timed out. The New Mexico legislature adjourned for the year on Thursday without acting on a bill that would give preference to community banks and credit unions in bidding for contracts to handle state money.
CONTINUED AT TOP OF NEXT COLUMN.....
The bill, sponsored by Rep. Brian Egolf (D-Santa Fe), was inspired directly by the Move Your Money campaign. The NM State Rep estimated the bill could potentially take more than a billion dollars away from Bank of America and Wells Fargo.
The bill was sliding along with ease and effortlessly at first. It actually passed the New Mexico House unanimously, and it even cleared two Senate committees and ultimately reached the floor. But oddly, time ran out before it could see a vote. Why? Who's grubbing, hairy palms were greased?
True, the state's constitution requires the legislature to adjourn at noon on the 30th day of its legislative session, which was Thursday. Still the Senate was set to take up the bill on Thursday, but Senate Republicans spent the dwindling hours of the session filibustering a bill that would have allowed judges to put first-time drug offenders in treatment programs instead of prison.
Yes indeed, the New Mexico Republicans ran out the clock at the very end with a filibuster. I know it's hard to believe. I mean, wow, imagine that, Republithugs using a filibuster to derail meaningful actions. And these fools want to know why they've been branded the party of NO!
In what may just be the understatement of the year, VP Joe Biden: says Washington is 'broken'. 'I've never seen it this dysfunctional,' the insightful vice president says. Friends, its comments like that that make you wonder if these people ALL live in a bubble.
Also a new poll says the Majority opposes the recent SCOTUS ruling. A whopping 80% of Americans are against allowing unlimited corporate campaign spending. Yet, the rightwing stll wants to claim Americans want corporations to participate as citizens even though the Washington Post-ABC News poll says American from both parties overwhelmingly oppose the supremes' decision.
Lord only knows these same people who think the SCOTUS is right would agree with many TEXANS who think dinos, humans shared earth. Seriously. nearly 33% of Texans polled think the Flintstones are real... we lived and played with dinosaurs. These sad people (51%) also disagree with the silly notion that humans evolved from earlier species. Oh well, Texans also prefer Tex Mex food, when great New Mexico chile and SW cuisine is just over their border.
Oh I see by the signs in the tea party crowd, its ah... ah... never mind!
The Washington Times' Jim McElhatton has a great story you should read. It's about the hypocritical GOP Senators and Congress critters that blasted the stimulus, but privately begged for their own pork.
Sen. Christopher S. Bond regularly railed against President Obama's economic stimulus plan as irresponsible spending that would drive up the national debt. But behind the scenes, the Missouri Republican quietly sought more than $50 million from a federal agency for two projects in his state.
Mr. Bond was not alone. More than a dozen Republican lawmakers, while denouncing the stimulus to the media and their constituents, privately sent letters to just one of the federal government's many agencies seeking stimulus money for home-state pork projects.
The letters to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, expose the gulf between lawmakers' public criticism of the overall stimulus package and their private lobbying for projects close to home.
"It's not illegal to talk out of both sides of your mouth, but it does seem to be a level of dishonesty troubling to the American public," said Melanie Sloan, executive director of the watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington.
In a letter to Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack, Mr. Bond noted that one project applying to the USDA for stimulus money would "create jobs and ultimately spur economic opportunities."
He and other lawmakers make no apologies for privately seeking stimulus money after they voted against it and continue to criticize the plan: "I strongly opposed the stimulus, but the only thing that could make it worse would be if none of it returned to the taxpayers of Missouri," said Mr. Bond, who is retiring.
But watchdog groups say the lawmakers' public talk and private letters don't square, highlighting a side of government spending largely overshadowed by the "earmarking" process. While members of Congress must disclose their earmarks — or pet projects they slip into broader spending bills — the private funding requests they make in letters to agencies fall outside of the public's view. DEMS who are actually not too bright and a little too far to the RIGHT: Wow, did you see where Harold Ford has decided NOT to RUN against Kristen Gillibrand? He claims its because he thinks that the primary even tough he'd win would love the campaign with too little money against a well funded Republithug... and that the DEM hold would be so slim in Congress that there is NO need to risk it... or words to that affect. Huh? If he honestly feels there will be so many loses and he is the best candidate, why would he not run? Once again slick Harold, we see through your bullshit.
Well of course all this is... is just political speak for, "Oh damn, they figured out my masquerade... and NOW I can't convince them that suddenly I'm a liberal".
